As you may have heard, our honeybees are in trouble due to dwindling populations worldwide. Honeybees are an important part of nature's ecosystem and are essential to our well being. Much of the food we eat is the direct result of the work that bees do. We, as people, need them to survive. At the same time, they need our help to survive. Please do not harm or try to kill them.

Swarming is the process by which a new honeybee hive (colony) is formed. Swarms are the bees' way of naturally reproducing themselves. When honey bees first swarm, they will cluster up on a branch, the corner of a building or other convenient spot. Then they will then send out 'scout bees' to search for a new permanent home. They may stay in this cluster for as little as an hour or as long as a couple of days. After the scouts find a new home, the rest of the swarm will follow them to that location. They will start building comb and rapidly become an established hive. Once in their new home, capture and removal become much more difficult.

When honeybees take up residence on your property, they will not leave on their own. They must be removed.

We specialize in safe, live bee removal of hives that are located inside the walls of your home, shed or barn. Using an infrared camera, we have the ability to "see" inside walls and ceilings, making it possible for us pinpoint their exact location. The only effective way to remove them is to open up that area, expose the hive and take out the bees along with all the comb. We use a specially designed vacuum system so that bees can be drawn into a containment chamber unharmed. All this is done without the use of dangerous chemicals.

With experience in home remodeling, we are able to open walls with a minimum amount of damage.
